Margo Wratten is a senior occupational therapist providing assessment and intervention services to infants, children and young people aged from birth to 18 years.
She enjoys supporting young people and working with families to assist them in reaching their potential. She considers each child’s needs and establishes a plan to help them to achieve their goals. Margo has special interest and experience in early intervention for children with Autism and mental health conditions. She also provides clinical supervision to new graduate therapists.
Margo gained her qualification at The University of Queensland where she completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2003.
Since then she has worked extensively with young people and families both in Australia and overseas in the private and not-for-profit sectors. This includes at the Cerebral Palsy League, The London Children’s Practice, National Health Service Harrighey, AEIOU for children with Autism, and Brisbane Children’s Therapy.
She has a passion for working with children of all abilities, and loves seeing the gains they make. She works collaboratively and develops valued long-term relationships with families, schools and other providers.
Margo has membership to the Australian Occupational Therapy Association and is a Registered Mental Health Provider.
She has two boys and a husband who is a teacher and enjoys watching movies, bushwalking and spending time with friends and family.
