Bronte Snowdon
Paediatric Speech Pathologist
BSpPath (Hons), MSPASpringfield
As a paediatric speech pathologist, Bronte diagnoses and treats a variety of communication disorders, including difficulties with speaking, stuttering and using voice, listening, understanding language, and social skills.
She has particular interest in early intervention with children who are late talkers and in helping children with their literacy – including their reading and writing.
Bronte’s desire to make a difference in children’s lives motivated her to complete a Bachelor of Speech Pathology Honours (BSpPath Hons) at the University of Queensland in 2018. As a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist, she has broad experience in private practice.
She enjoys building relationships with children and their families, listening to children’s stories, and their honesty. She takes great reward from seeing children improve their communication and in watching them grow their confidence and their smiles.
Recent professional development includes courses with The Hanen Centre – It Takes Two to Talk, and Target Word. Bronte is a Member of Speech Pathology Australia (MSPA), and a Duke of Edinburgh Award and Queen’s Guide Award recipient.
