About Paeds in a Pod

Paeds in a Pod is a private paediatric practice providing comprehensive care with best practice standards and modern expertise to newborns, infants, children and adolescents.

We specialise in growth and development and practice within a multidisciplinary team to provide a holistic approach to support children and young people with complex developmental needs.

What will you do?

  • Support children with developmental differences to reach their full potential
  • Provide assessments to identify strengths and needs of children aged 0-18 years
  • Provide one-on-one and/or small group intervention programs in a supportive clinic environment
  • Provide home, childcare and school visiting services, as required

What kind of person do you need to be?

  • Degree in Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy, or a Registered Psychologist
  • Compassionate approach to working with children and their families
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to learn computer software associated with clinical services
  • Ability to rapidly acquire an understanding of intervention under the National Disability Insurance Scheme
  • Current Working with Children Check and Blue Card
