Luke Newland is a highly experienced physiotherapist who has been working exclusively with children for more than a decade. Luke ensures he is up to date with the most current and evidence-based physiotherapy techniques and has worked extensively with children from special care nurseries (neonates) to young adults.
Working predominantly with children with developmental issues, Luke is also highly involved in assisting children with Neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and orthopaedic concerns.
Luke graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 1999 and gained his Masters of Physiotherapy in 2002. He was employed as a Senior Physiotherapist at Mater Children’s Hospital and acted as Clinical Unit Manager on numerous occasions between 2008 and 2014. Luke has taught in postgraduate paediatric courses at the Mater Children’s and Royal Children’s Hospitals, Brisbane and been employed by Bond University to teach on paediatrics within the Doctor of Physiotherapy program.
Luke is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and National Paediatric Group and is an NDIS registered physiotherapist.
